Join one of the largest and most esteemed Archaeology programs in Canada to illuminate the human past and develop transferable skills that can be used in virtually any corner of the world and in many job sectors. With the unique option to pursue either a B.A. or B.Sc. degree in Archaeology, Trent gives you the flexibility to expand your academic experience through intensive lab courses and handson field work. Learning field methods and lab techniques, you will unearth your own discoveries, examining evidence and conducting research alongside award-winning instructors and researchers.

- Graduate with 12 months of paid work experience as you complete three full-time work terms throughout the four-year co-op stream, working in fields such as municipal arts and culture, community heritage, tourism, environmental planning, education, evaluation and research
- Conduct your own independent research project studying regions such as the Arctic, Asia, Canada, Central and South America, Europe, the Mediterranean and North Africa
- Gain first-hand experience in specialized on-campus labs for bioarchaeology, remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), archaeozoology, and lithic and ceramic analysis
- Work alongside award-winning instructors and researchers, including the Canada Research Chair in Archaeological Science
- Take part in a field study in Ontario, Belize, or Greece and spend your summer excavating and analyzing the remains of ancient civilizations

Conservators restore and conserve artifacts belonging to museums, galleries and owners of cultural property. Curators recommend the acquisition of museum artifacts and gallery works of art and research their artistic history. Conservators and curators are employed in museums, art galleries and universities. Admission Requirements
Ontario Secondary School Requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- A minimum of six Grade 12 4U or 4M courses, including program specific prerequisites
Program Requirements:
- A minimum 70% overall final average
- ENG 4U with a minimum of 60%
