Government Relations & Community Partnerships

Trent’s Government Relations initiatives are led primarily by the President’s Office.

The University’s Government Relations function seeks to strategically position Trent University within the priorities of the Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments by building long-term relationships, increasing Trent’s profile and building awareness, creating new partnerships and supporting nation-wide and provincial advocacy strategies.

Trent University respectfully acknowledges it is located on the treaty and traditional territory of the Mississauga Anishinaabeg. We offer our gratitude to First Peoples for their care for, and teachings about, our earth and our relations. May we honour those teachings.
