Durham Community Care Summer Positions
Deadline: Friday, March 17, 2017 at 5:00PM

Durham Community Care is hiring for over 15 different summer job positions around the Durham region! Community Care Durham is a multi-service, registered charitable organization that provides Home Support, Respite and COPE Mental Health services for adults and their caregivers who have needs related to aging, physical, and/or mental health. These amazing opportunities include Home Support Workers, Mental Health Services Assistant, Accounting Assistant, Adult Day Program and more! These positions will allow you to obtain valuable experience in a variety of work fields, while helping develop skills for future job positions. The application deadline for all of the positions are Friday, March 17, 2017  at 5:00 p.m. and applications are online on the Community Care website

Ontario Public Service Summer Employment Opportunities

Every year, the Ontario Public Service, related agencies and community groups, provide 5,000 students with jobs across the province. These jobs help Ontario students with limited work experience develop transferable skills, support their career goals and learn more about the Ontario Public Service! Summer Employment Opportunities are full-time, temporary positions ranging from 7 – 18 weeks between May and September. These positions enable students across the province to gain valuable work experience and develop skills which are transferable to the labour market.

Summer Company - Turn Your Ideas into a Business
Deadline: Apply Early - Space is limited and the program reaches capacity quickly

Summer Company allows you to go beyond your typical student summer job and turn your idea into a business. Start in June or July and finish by Labour Day. The program provides Ontario students ages 15-29 up to $3,000 and hands-on coaching and mentoring to help you start and operate your business.
