There are many benefits to living on campus at Trent, especially in this unique year. Here are just a few of the reasons you will want to consider living in residence this fall:
1) Be the first
All new rooms; all new furniture; all new experience. You can be among the first students to have access to it all in our brand new on-campus residence.
2) Single room privacy
This year, we are operating our residence on a “single” or one-person-to-a-room basis, complete with the latest health and safety training and protocols.
3) 12 months for the price of 8
A special offer for this year only and exclusive to our Durham students – join us in residence, pay for fall and winter semesters and you can stay on over the summer (and enjoy our climate-controlled accommodations) at no additional charge.
4) Your spot is guaranteed
Complete the application requirements by July 17 and we’ll save you a room.
5) No lease, landlord negotiations or additional fees
Housing Services offers a contract based on set fees to all students. You don’t have to worry about additional fees for heat, hydro or internet. You will also get free laundry.
6) Convenience
With the University’s multi-access learning model this year, flexibility will be key. Online courses? We have free wifi. Have an in-person class on campus? You are steps away. Our location close to the highway and transit also means you are close to the city -- or home for that weekend visit or home-cooked meal.
7) Be part of our community
Our residence staff will be providing a range of community-building activities and support for you to meet fellow residents and feel connected to the campus.
8) Next level dining
Made from scratch, locally-sourced homestyle meals mixed with international flavours. Enjoy made to order breakfast, artisanal pizza, exceptional coffee, soups, sandwiches and hot meals in the brand new café.
What are you waiting for? A new on-campus residence, state-of-the-art classrooms, new collaborative learning spaces and a vibrant outdoor green space, are here for you to enjoy at Trent Durham GTA.
