Start Your Journey to Trent

Join us, virtually and in-person, for Trent Transfer Week, August 2 - 5. During this week, our Admissions team will be giving priority to all transfer students applying to Trent or who have an application in progress. In order to prepare for optimal processing time, please see the instructions below for applying to Trent during Transfer Week. If you want to apply now, be sure to email your documents to admissions@trentu.ca after applying so we can prioritize your application during Transfer Week.

Applying

If you are a domestic applicant who is applying only to Trent, complete our free Trent direct application form.

Once you have completed your application, you will be invited to set up an account on the MyTrent Portal.  In your Portal you will be able to manually enter your current or completed college grades, if you are transferring from an Ontario college or university. You can do this by going to the Manual Transcript icon found under the Academics tab. 

If you are applying from a college or university outside of Ontario, please email your transcripts to admissions@trentu.ca. Once your application is in progress, the Admissions team will reach out to you for follow up documents and any further requirements.

Applying

Apply to Trent University on-the-spot at our in-person Transfer component. Our Admissions team is here to help you navigate your application and help you with any questions. If you are a domestic applicant who is applying only to Trent, complete our free Trent direct application form.

You will also have the opportunity to discuss your transfer credits to ensure you are making the most of the credits that you have already earned at the post-secondary level.

Not sure what courses you need to take to complete your degree here at Trent? Not to worry! At the Transfer Event you will have the opportunity to meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss the different degree pathways that are available to you.

Campus Tours

Campus Tour

Tours will highlight Trent's award-winning architecture on the banks of the Otonabee River.  You will see a variety of academic and collegiate spaces including our new Student Centre, Bata Library, residence spaces and the Athletics Centre.  You will join a Trent Student Ambassador on a walking tour of campus to highlight these spaces, and share some personal insight into what makes Trent University #1 in Ontario for 11 years in a row!
