OSAP - Graduate Studies

Students in graduate level programs (Graduate Diplomas, Master or PhD programs) can apply for OSAP funding on a term-by-term basis. OSAP is assessed each term based off of your application.

*Full year (Fall/Winter/Summer) applications will no longer be available.  All students will apply by term.

Instructions:

1. Log into OSAP at www.ontario.ca/OSAP

2. Start a new application for either full time or part time studies.

3.a) Part time studies - provide the necessary information for the current semester (i.e., Fall, Winter or Spring/Summer)

3.b) Full time studies - search for your program name and select the term you wish to apply for.  (i.e., "BEMA" and then select the "Sept 1 - Dec 31" term for a fall study period)

4. You can submit more than one application at a time. If you are studying fall, winter, and spring/summer, you can submit three applications all at once or submit them as needed.  Be mindful of the OSAP Deadlines.

5. OSAP is disbursed each semester, typically within the first two weeks of the study period.

6. Any questions about your application can be sent to financialaid@trentu.ca

All income must be reported to OSAP. Failure to do so can result in overpayments, income variances and full restrictions. Please speak with Financial Aid if you are unsure what needs to be reported.
