Co-op students are eligible to apply for OSAP during their study terms, as well as apply for full-time funding while completing their work term which will help with living costs.
You don’t pay tuition during your co-op work terms but you may pay a compulsory fee of $750 per work term to cover some costs of the co-op program as well as the applicable ancillary and levy fees as set by Trent University. Year 1
Co-op students will apply for OSAP for the fall and winter semesters at the same time in their first year. You will be assessed for both terms in one application.
Years 2+
As you continue through your program, you will need to follow a specific method to apply for OSAP so that your co-op fee is considered and assess for.

Apply through OSAP for a full academic year (a fall and winter application). You will be assessed for both terms in one application.
- Search for your program in OSAP by searching a single keyword such as "history" or "kinesiology"
- Look for the correct program with "co-op" in the program name
- Ensure your program is at the right campus (Peterborough or Durham/OSH). This will be labelled in the program name

Search "BBA" and find the co-op option for Durham/Oshawa location
