New Employee Networking

In-person networking opportunities will be held each semester for all new employees to provide an opportunity to meet other colleagues, develop a greater connection with the Trent community, and go on a guided tour of the campus.

Trent University is a collegiate university in which each student belongs to one of 5 colleges when they are enrolled at the Symons Campus. In spirit of the collegiate system each Trent staff member is also given an opportunity to join a college of their liking. 

You can confirm/choose your College affiliation on MyTrent with a few short steps:

  • Log into MyTrent
  • Select the "Support" tab
  • Find the "Choose your College" button under the College life heading

We hope that all staff, regardless of their location, engage with one of the five Colleges of Trent University: Traill College, Champlain College, Lady Eaton College, Otonabee College, and Gzowski College.
