Peer Support Program

The Peer Support program creates a warm and welcoming space for all Trent students to receive support from their peers.

Whether you are venting about a bad day or recovering from a break-up, your trained Peer Support student staff are here to listen.

The program is free, non-judgmental, and confidential.

To visit the Peer Support drop-in space, go to the 3rd floor of the Student Centre and find your way to room 3.04. There you will find the Peer Support room! There are lots of activities (arts & crafts, puzzles, etc) and a student staff person as well as a volunteer to welcome you. Peer Support also has a one-on-one room right beside the drop-in space if you are looking for some privacy to speak to a Peer Supporter.

Your Peer Support staff are available Monday to Friday from 12 pm to 4pm.

Peer Support will be running events over the course of the school year. There will be activities, themes, and conversations to be had. Keep an eye out on our social media to stay in the loop. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook at @peersupporttrent.

Email: peersupport@trentu.ca for more info.

Drop in and say hello! Our trained staff are here to listen and connect: confidential one on one support, open to all students, Monday to Friday from 12 to 4 p.m., room 3.04 in the Student Centre.
