NEW Workplace Injury, Illness, and Incident Reporting tools
Tuesday, February 18 2025
Trent University encourages all members of the University community to promptly report any safety concerns or incidents that may arise. Prompt reporting assists in identifying, assessing, and controlling hazards to prevent further injury or property damage.
Workers that experience or witness an injury, occupation illness, incident, or other risk that causes or has the potential to cause an accident or damage to property should first report the event to their immediate supervisor.
The supervisor and worker should collaboratively submit an incident report to the Health and Safety Office. The Injury, Illness, and Incident reporting process has recently been updated to Microsoft Forms, providing a streamlined and efficient way to quickly submit reports while gathering all necessary information. Incident reporting forms can be accessed on the Report a Hazard/Incident page of the Health and Safety website.
