The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) is applicable to Trent University. The Act requires the university to protect the confidential information of the student.

Your student account information is yours to manage. If your parent(s) are involved with your affairs and require specific information regarding your financial student account, you may wish to give authorization for others to contact the Student Accounts Office on your behalf.
