Co-op for Students

Gain valuable career connections and graduate with a degree and 12 months of paid work experience. Here’s how:

Step 1: Choose you program and apply for one of Trent's competitive co-op streams!

Review all of Trent's programs that offer competitive co-op streams, choose which stream is best for you, and follow your next steps on how to apply to Trent!

Step 2: Join Trent's community of scholars!

Accept your offer and prepare to be #Trentbound!

Step 3: Ensure you meet the co-op program requirements before the first work term

Co-op students are expected to maintain minimum co-op progression requirements and complete preparatory co-op courses or workshops 

Step 4: Gain experience through full-time paid work terms while completing your degree

Complete paid work terms (totaling 12 months of work experience), reflective work term documentation, along with all other degree requirements and graduate career ready!
