Research interests: Feminist and social theory, gender, sexuality, aging, bodies, science and technology, consumption. Current projects are 1) exploring ways to increase sexual and gender diversity in representations of successful aging, 2) bringing together insights from science and technology studies and critical aging studies, with a focus on self-tracking, gamification and data-veillance, and 3) analyzing intersections between aging, gender and embodiment.

Research interests:  The institutional responses to sexual violence, particularly medico-legal interventions and the role and nature of forensic evidence and experts in criminal justice systems; science and technology studies (STS); critical research on technologies of rape and sexual assault, specifically anti-rape technologies.
