Transcript
A transcript is a formal copy of your student academic record. It records all courses successfully and unsuccessfully completed, and all courses that were withdrawn after the course drop deadline. All Trent University transcripts include a record of every term that you have attended and include both undergraduate and graduate studies, as applicable. Please view our Transcript Legend, which appears on the back of every official transcript, for grading system information.
Unofficial Transcript
An unofficial transcript is available for viewing in myTrent under Academics → Unofficial Transcript. The unofficial transcript can be printed or saved as a PDF and used for a variety of purposes. Your unofficial transcript will meet the requirements of many external organizations, saving you from having to order a printed copy of your official transcript.
Official Transcript
Your official transcript can be accessed and ordered at any time in myTrent under Academics → Forms. The cost to request an official transcript is $16.00, including standard postage. You can pay for your order with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Visa Debit. We have received reports of students encountering issues when making payments using Google Chrome. Please try a different browser to complete your request. Official transcripts can be used to satisfy the requirements of many institutions and professional organizations. Before ordering an official transcript you are encouraged to view your unofficial transcript. Due to the current pandemic, we are able to email PDF transcripts to certain requestors. If your requestor will accept a PDF transcript, please enter their email address in the first line of the Requestor Address section of the Transcript Request form.
For alumni and former Trent students, use the myTrent link above for direct access to the Trent portal.
*If you have logged in as a Trent Alumnus and are now navigating from the Alumni myCommunity page, please click on the “myTrentExperience” menu to find the myTrent Access link. From here click "Access myTrent Portal". Within the Academic Section of myTrent you can order your Transcript.
Request Status
You can check the status of your transcript request by logging into myTrent and clicking on Academics → Forms → Transcript Request Status. Look for the date in the Date Produced box. If no date appears, then your transcript request is still being processed.
