If you are unable to attend one of the scheduled dates, you can reschedule for an alternative session time.

Who is providing the training?

Led by Carey McMaster, Founder of TRAICON and an Organizational Development Specialist with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, this micro-credential program will offer

invaluable insights into strategic planning, operational efficiency, and leadership development.  Her extensive knowledge and expertise will provide invaluable insights into the principles, theories, and best practices essential for guiding nonprofits toward success.

Do I have to sign up for all of the courses?

No. Choose the ones that are relevant to you. You can take one or all of them, depending on your needs. The majority have been designed to be standalone. Check the course details for any prerequisite requirements.

How are the courses delivered?

All the courses are delivered online and asynchronously to enable participants to complete the work in their own time. In addition to the courses, we have created LinkedIn and Facebook groups where we will share additional presentations and events that are relevant to the nonprofit sector. These are not mandatory to attend, but we expect they will provide opportunities to learn more about topics and opportunities to ask questions.

Do I have to take all the courses in one year to qualify for the certificate?

No. You can take the courses over several years and still qualify for the certificate when all the courses are completed.

How many hours do they take to complete?

Each individual course may differ slightly. In general, typically 8-12 hours over 4 weeks. Check out each of the course descriptions above for more information.

What happens if I sign up for them all but can't make one of the dates?

We have several start dates during the year.
