Volunteering is an excellent way to gain the skills and experiences you need to reach your career goals, as well as making a difference locally and globally by volunteering for a cause you believe in.
Every year Careerspace coordinates the annual Volunteer Expo, where students and recent graduates can access information and have discussions with volunteer organisations in person. The event runs every fall and is open for all students and alumni to attend.
The 2025 Volunteer Expo will be on September 10, 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. at the Peterborough campus.
If students are interested in connecting with some of the volunteer organisations in the area, then register for the event
Please find the organisations that will be attending this year's volunteer expo.
Volunteer organisations interested in attending can email our team at experiential@trentu.ca.

Students are encouraged to thoroughly research organizations and verify terms and conditions of employment/education that may be important in your decision-making. We invite you to seek the assistance of the Careerspace team when evaluating these opportunities.
