STI Testing

STI Testing and Treatment available for Trent Students

STI Testing - No Symptoms
  • STI testing is for you if you have NO symptoms (to find out what symptoms of an STI might be, click here). If you think you have symptoms, call us at 705-748-1481 to book a physician appointment.
  • If you are sexually active, it is generally recommended that you get STI testing every six to twelve months. If you have multiple partners, you may want to get screened more frequently. At your appointment, the nurse will discuss recommended frequency of testing based on your sexual practices.
  • STI testing is an in-person appointment with the nurse and can be booked online or by phone, 705-748-1481.
  • STI Screening tests for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea (you will be asked to provide a urine sample and/or do a self-swab). The nurse can also offer a blood test requisition for you to take to lab to be tested for HIV, Hepatitis, and/or Syphilis. The nurse will speak with you to discuss what testing is right for you.
