Alternate Clinics

Due to COVID-19 some of these clinics may not be operating currently.

As an alternative to Trent Student Health Services, you may choose to see a physician in the community for non-emergency care at one of the following clinics.

*Due to COVID-19, bus schedules and numbers may have changed. Please verify ahead of time. 

You can now use Google Maps to plan your route for the Peterborough Transit services.

PRHC Assessment Centre

If we are closed and you need an assessment, treatment or testing for worsening Covid-19 symptoms, call PRHC Assessment Centre at 705-876-5086

Lansdowne Place Clinic

Call the clinic to confirm hours for that day as hours are subject to change without notice. 
Take #8 bus - Monaghan Rd. from the main terminal

Phone and virtual appointment only unless the physician requests you to come in-person. 

We have been notified that international students can be seen at the Walk-In Clinic. International students must bring their international insurance health card (UHIP) in order to be seen. Cigna insurance holders will have to pay for their appointments as well as students with Out of Province health cards.

Guardian Pharmacy Walk-In Clinic

815 High St. (Across from the Lansdowne Place Mall)

This clinic will see Out of Province health cards and international students with UHIP.  Quebec health cards will have to pay up front.

Good Doctors Clinic (telemedicine clinic)

Monday-Friday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Take #6 bus - SSFC/Kawartha from the main terminal

This clinic will see students with Out of Province health cards and international students with UHIP or CIGNA insurance, BUT they will be required to pay $50 for their appointment.
