Health Services is excited to now be offering Lifestyle Medicine appointments with Dr. Mark Dodds. Lifestyle medicine is a preventative approach to medicine that focuses on the following six pillars to improve overall health and prevent chronic disease:
- Nutrition
- Physical Activity
- Restorative Sleep
- Stress Management
- Avoidance of Risky Substances
- Positive Social Connections
How to Make an Appointment
Ready to take the first step towards a healthier, more balanced university life? Book your appointment with Dr. Dodds today and start your journey to better health! Appointments are covered under OHIP and UHIP. Follow these steps to get started:
- Book Online: Easily schedule your initial appointment online. Select "Lifestyle Medicine Initial Appointment" when booking. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive a Health Mail with a form to fill out prior to your visit.
- The initial appointment is conducted in person. During this visit, Dr. Dodds will review your lifestyle and medical history and work with you to create a personalized plan aimed at making healthier choices and managing or preventing chronic diseases.
- After the initial appointment, follow-up appointments are held virtually. This allows for convenient and flexible ongoing support. You can discuss the scheduling details with Dr. Dodds during your first appointment.
