Visitor Parking
There are a variety of options for visitors to park on campus. There is no complimentary parking at the Symons and Traill campuses (Peterborough) and parking is enforced at all times.
Visitors to the Symons Campus (Peterborough) are welcome to use Pay & Display and Temporary Permit options while parking on campus. There are several options for visitors to make payment:
Use any Pay & Display machine located at the Symons Campus in lots B, D, F, I, U and Q. Ensure you enter the correct license plate number. Payments can be made with Visa, Mastercard or tap Debit.
Download our HotSpot Parking App and follow the regular directions.
For longer stays, we recommend that you register and purchase a Temporary Permit online.
Overnight parking will require Parking Services approval. Please review Overnight parking for more details.
Visitors to the Durham Campus are welcome to register for a day pass. Further details can be found on the Durham Parking website.
Departmental Visitor Parking
Trent University departments may purchase visitor permits from the parking office under the authority of the Department head by forwarding an email to parking@trentu.ca with their department account code and the number of permits required.
These permits are for authorized visitors only and cannot be used by employees or students unless specifically authorized by a Vice-President.
