Salary Range: $75,379 - $83,753 per annum i.e. $2,899.19 - $3,221.27 bi-weekly

The Role:
Are you passionate about data, problem-solving, and innovation? Do you want to make a significant impact through data-driven decision-making? As a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic and operational planning at the University. Reporting to the Director of Reporting Systems and Analytics, you will:

 

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Collaborate with teams across the institution to enhance reporting capabilities and improve data accessibility.
  • Ensure high-quality data governance.
  • Design and implement business intelligence solutions.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and contribute innovative ideas to improve data collection, analysis, and presentation.

This role is perfect for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build expertise in business intelligence tools, data visualization, and analytics within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be encouraged to take initiative, experiment with new approaches, and grow your technical and analytical skills while making a meaningful contribution to the University’s data strategy.

Qualifications We Are Looking For:

  • A university degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Four (4) years of experience with Microsoft reporting infrastructure, including Management Studio (SSMS), Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Power Platform (Power BI), and cloud technologies such as Azure and Fabric.
  • Proficiency in T-SQL, DAX, Python or R, and experience applying machine learning techniques and tools for data analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Experience with student information systems in a post-secondary environment (preferably Datatel Colleague) is preferred.
