This course offers an introduction to business essentials and offers strategies for incorporating them into the workplace. Each module defines the topic, explains why it is important and gives practical instruction on how it can be incorporated into the workplace. It will also give suggestions about what you can do to learn more about the subject if you would like to take it further. This may include additional resources, such as the Nonprofit Management Essentials and Cybersecurity Awareness micro-credentials.

- Discuss common cyber threats, security protocols, and best practices to safeguard data, systems, and networks

- Key features in Microsoft Office 365
4. Working Across Generations
- Explore communication styles, work preferences, and strategies for fostering collaboration among different age groups
5. Digital Marketing
- Establish resources and objectives
- Review data analytics to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns
6. Skills-Based Hiring
- Discuss how organizations can assess candidates' skills to job requirements
7. Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Training
- What EDI is, why EDI is important, and how we can implement a more inclusive environment
8. Sustainability
- Learn about the Sustainable Development Goals and how they can be applied within any business
Evaluation:
This course is a graded course where a Complete or Incomplete will be issued. In order to receive a Completion of this course, a student must:
- Complete the assignments and quizzes within each module
- Submit questions for the panel
- Complete final questionnaire to confirm learning
