Why is Trent interested in investing in seniors housing?
An on-campus seniors’ village will expand Trent’s role as a globally recognized age-friendly university, leveraging expertise from the Trent Centre for Aging & Society and the Trent/Fleming School of Nursing. It will provide hands-on learning for students, advance aging research, and address local seniors’ housing needs. The leased land will generate revenue to support students and facilities.
