The Scholars’ Table.
The Scholars’ Table Community of Practice (CoP) brings together faculty and staff from across Trent University who share a mutual interest in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. This CoP meets 1-2 times per semester to explore topics in SoTL and provide opportunities for discussion amongst SoTL scholars.
All Trent Teaching Fellows and Wickerson Foundation Fund grant recipients are encouraged to participate in the CoP to support their ongoing projects. All faculty and staff are invited to join, whether you are currently working on a project, starting to develop an idea, or just want to learn more about SoTL!

SoTL Education Developer Working Group
Trent is one of a dozen Canadian institutions of higher education represented in a national working group specifically for SoTL Education Developers. The working group meets virtually once per month to share our faculty development initiatives; discuss questions or challenges arising from our work; and spread the word about upcoming SoTL events of mutual interest. Our goal is to foster connection amongst Ed Developers doing this work across Canada and build capacity for scholarly inquiry and resource development.
If you are an Ed Developer interested in joining the working group, please email devonstillwell@trentu.ca
