Articulation and Transfer Pathways Office
Body

The Articulation and Transfer Pathways Office is Trent University's primary contact for academic partnerships responsible for facilitating the development of articulation agreements, transfer pathways and joint-program agreements with both domestic and international partners. Trent University has over 170 transfer agreements, as well as a number of joint-offerings, with postsecondary partners across the globe.   • Supporting the development of transfer pathways, articulation agreements, and joint-program agreements;
  • Maintaining all transfer agreements to reflect degree requirement and partner program changes;

Articulation and Transfer Pathways Team

 Tawny Flude, B.A. (Hons), B.Ed, M.Ed
  705-748-1011 x 5006
  Team Lead, Coordinator, Articulation and Transfer Pathways

Tawny has had the opportunity to experience many postsecondary environments, completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature at Trent University, a Bachelor of Education at Ontario Tech University, and a Master of Education in Postsecondary Studies at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She has a passion for lifelong learning and believes that transfer should be as accessible as possible, regardless of a student’s path. Tawny’s time in the Articulation and Transfer Pathways department includes collaborating with partner institutions and academic departments to develop new and innovative pathways, developing resources, conducting research and participating in externally funded projects, and analyzing data to ensure pathways meet student needs and foster success. She is a member of ONCAT’s Heads of Transfer Advising and sits on multiple Program Advisory Committees at partner colleges.

Maryam McManus, B.A. (Hons)
 Articulation and Transfer Pathways Assistant

Having experienced the transfer process firsthand, Maryam is passionate about reducing barriers for transfer students. Maryam completed her  Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology and Sociology at Trent University after transferring through the Durham College General Arts and Science University Transfer pathway. Currently, she is completing her Master of Education in Adult Learning and Global Change with the University of British Columbia. On a typical day in the Articulation and Transfer Pathways department, you will find Maryam collecting data, conducting research, and ensuring that all pathways and resources are current to set students up for success when they arrive at Trent. She is also a member of ONCAT’s Transfer Advisors Group and values opportunities to learn more about providing effective opportunities for transfer.
