Trent’s Science & Technology programs cover many disciplines, but they all have one thing in common: they will give you skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience to launch your career in a competitive job market.
Description

Whether your interest is in the lab, in the digital space, or in the boardroom, our degrees are designed for the student who is fascinated by the possibilities that advanced technology holds for our future and wants to be part of the next big thing.

Choose from a wide range of majors such as Computer Science, Economics, Forensic Science, or Chemistry, but also know Trent encourages you to broaden your study by adding courses from other disciplines – Philosophy with Artificial Intelligence, or Kinesiology and business courses– to develop complementary technical and analytical skills for a successful career.

You’ll also be able to gain practical experience through paid co-op streams, research opportunities, and placements, all while building an invaluable professional network.

Degrees & Specializations

One of our broadest categories, Science & Technology programs challenge you to examine the world through microscopes, code, and rigorous experimentation. Whether that comes through complex chemistry and biology laboratory work or engineering artificial intelligence systems and language models, you're able to design a course of study that explores your greatest interests.

Graduates can also look to continue their studies with pathways to a number of master’s and Ph.D. programs, including chemical analysis and materials science.
