Description

As an undergraduate degree student, or working towards your Bachelor of Education, you’ll benefit from personalized and collaborative learning experiences rooted in social justice, sustainable practices, and Indigenous Knowledge, while developing the fundamentals of teaching and learning to prepare you to work in a classroom environment. 

You’ll also practice teaching first-hand through community outreach, placements, and practicum opportunities, giving you real-world experience in the classroom.

Degrees & Specializations

Trent’s programs in Teaching & Education will prepare you to teach in a classroom with our popular Bachelor of Education, as well as Child & Youth Studies and Teacher Education Stream that can help prepare you for further education, or open up immediate career possibilities.

Trent also offers a unique Indigenous Bachelor of Education for First Nations, Métis, Inuit, and Indigenous students, preparing you to teach kindergarten to Grade 12 from a deeper understanding of Indigenous cultures, languages, and knowledge.
