Our unique Health & Behaviour and one-of-a-kind Biomedical Science degrees are innovative healthcare education with studies that cross multiple departments and subjects, giving you an interdisciplinary education with opportunities for fieldwork and shadowing that most undergraduate students don’t get.
Additionally, through our partnership with Swansea University in Wales, you can complete a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences/Medical Sciences dual degree, earning two degrees in just four years while adding international experience to your education.
Prepare for a career in human movement and health through Trent’s hands-on Kinesiology program. Working in Trent’s fully equipped Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics Labs, you will work with diverse clients including elite athletes, older adults and Indigenous communities. Through our five-year co-op stream offering up to 16 months of paid experience or the four-year placement option, you’ll graduate ready to pursue certification as a Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin.).
Gain the confidence and skills to excel as a healthcare professional through Trent’s immersive nursing program. Over four years of study, students complete more than 1,000 hours of clinical placements (starting as early as first year!), to build real-world experience in diverse healthcare settings. Getting hands-on in Canada’s first internationally accredited university simulation centre, you’ll work with high-fidelity mannequins that replicate scenarios like childbirth, acute illness, and chronic disease management.
