In-Course Scholarship
The In-Course Scholarship ranges from $2,500 to $5,500 CAD and is based on your term average in a full-time course load in the preceding academic year.
You must apply to be considered for the In-Course Scholarship. The application form will open every summer in June on the myTrent portal, and all applications must be submitted before the first day of classes for the fall term. Applications will be assessed in late September and awarded in mid-October.
If you were awarded an Entrance Scholarship in your first year, the In-Course Scholarship can be considered its annual renewal. If you were not eligible for an Entrance Scholarship, you may become eligible for the In-Course Scholarship if your grades at Trent University meet the 80% eligibility criteria.
| Tier | Grade Range (Canadian Equivalent) | Scholarship Per Academic Year (CAD) | Total Scholarship Potential (over 4 years) |
| 1 | 95-100% | $5,500 | $22,000 |
| 2 | 90-94% | $4,500 | $18,000 |
| 3 | 85-89% | $3,500 | $14,000 |
| 4 | 80-84% | $2,500 | $10,000 |
If you are in first year, your scholarship will be noted on your account statement as “TI Entrance Scholarship”. If you are an upper-year student, your scholarship will be noted as “TI In-Course Scholarship".
