Jennifer McGarrity is a Trent Alumna and accomplished executive with more than 30 years of experience in the financial services sector. She built her progressive career at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), including senior leadership positions, where she developed extensive expertise in strategic planning, enterprise transformation, and operational effectiveness.
She is known for her collaborative and inclusive leadership style and for leading large-scale, complex initiatives that advance business priorities. She is dedicated to fostering talent through active mentorship, helping others achieve their professional goals.
Jennifer holds both a Master of Business Administration from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trent University. She is an active community volunteer and supports a local hockey association.
Ms. McGarrity was reappointed for a second three-year term to the Trent University Board of Governors effective July 1, 2025, and has served for two years as Chair of the Board's Audit and Investment Committee.
