Caitlin has been a staff member at Trent University since 2021 and currently holds the role of Student Conduct and Conduct Education Coordinator in the Office of Student Affairs. As the first individual in this role, Caitlin provides consultation, education, and facilitation to the Trent community regarding student rights and responsibilities. She has also worked in the Counselling department at Trent as an Urgent Care Counsellor, has overseen and conducted Peer Support programming, and is a Sessional Faculty member in the Trent/Swansea Law Dual Degree program. Outside of Trent, Caitlin has worked as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) since 2023.
Prior to her time in the post-secondary sector, Caitlin held several positions working with students of all ages including time with the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board and the John Howard Society.
Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Trent University, a Social Services Worker Diploma from George Brown College, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Caitlin has been appointed to a seat designated for Staff on the Board of Governors for a term ending June 30, 2026.
