Accessibility Policy
The purpose of this policy is to provide services in learning, working, administrative, and living environments that are accessible to individuals involved in university functions. It is the policy's goal to implement principles of equality, dignity, integration, and independence in full for every service and good provided by the University.
Accommodations for Employees with Disabilities
The purpose of this policy is to provide a clear statement on the obligations of the University in accommodating employees with disabilities to the point of undue hardship. As well, it is the goal of the policy to provide guidance and standards for the application of an accommodation process in transitional or modified work, and temporary or permanent accommodation.
Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
The purpose of this policy is to provide a clear statement on the obligations of the University in accommodating students with disabilities. As well, the goal of the policy is to provide guidance and standards for the application of an accommodation plan.
AODA
The purpose of this Act is to benefit all Ontarians by developing, implementing and enforcing accessibility standards in order to achieve accessibility for Ontarians with disabilities with respect to goods, services, facilities, accommodation, employment, buildings, structures and premises. The Act also aims to benefit all Ontarians by providing for the involvement of persons with disabilities, of the Government of Ontario and of representatives of industries and of various sectors of the economy in the development of the accessibility standards.
Board Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Policy
The purpose of this policy is to provide a clear statement on the Board's commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in all spaces by providing equal opportunity, representation, and the removal of traditional barriers.
Customer Service Policy for Persons with Disabilities
The purpose of this policy is to provide services in all environments that are accessible to individuals involved in university functions by implementing principles of equality, diversity, integration, and independence within every service or good that is provided by the University.
IASR
This Regulation establishes the accessibility standards for each of information and communications, employment, transportation, the design of public spaces and customer service.
Policy for Persons with Disabilities
The purpose of this policy is to provide a clear statement on the obligations of the University in upholding accessible and equal opportunity for all individuals engaging with the functions of the University.
Service Animals Policy
The purpose of this policy is to ensure the facilitation of processes designed to provide non-discriminatory treatment to those with service animals in the University's provision of goods and services, including assistance to handlers and promotion of the vitality of service animals.
