“We respectfully acknowledge that we are on the treaty and traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg. We offer our gratitude to the First Peoples for their care for, and teachings about, our earth and our relations. May we honour those teachings.”
Trent's Equity and Human Rights Office (EHRO) is at the forefront of our mission to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our dedicated team, led by Dr. Jualla van Oudenhoven, actively works with students, student EDI coordinators, and faculty representatives from across our campuses to embed equity principles in Trent's organizational culture.
Our goal is to create a more inclusive and socially just environment within and beyond the University. Together, we're building a stronger and more equitable Trent community where everyone can thrive.
