  3. Emotional Balance Through Mindfulness Practice

Emotional Balance Through Mindfulness Practice

Are you looking for a way to reduce anxiety and learn mindfulness skills?

This course provides the relative theoretical and practical skills within mindfulness and is related to emotional exploration as well. The well-developed curriculum is based on understanding the development of youths’ physical and psychological characteristics, existing strategies of mitigating emotional distress from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and targeted mindfulness teaching techniques for youths. Additionally, a creative component is from the Buddhist teaching of investigation (dhamma-vicaya), which provides an easy-to-use way to pursue a deeper process behind the mindful experience.

Course Objectives:

  • Enhancing focus: Cultivating the ability to concentrate better, allowing individuals to stay attuned to the task or activity at hand with reduced distractions.
  • Heightening self-awareness: Through mindfulness, individuals gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, enabling better self-management.
  • Improving emotional regulation: The practice helps individuals better cope with stress and challenges by regulating emotions, staying calm and rational, and minimizing the impact of impulsive and negative feelings.
  • Cultivating investigative thinking patterns: Understanding and practicing mindfulness facilitates investigative thinking patterns, helping to prevent negative emotions and become more rational.
