Resumes & Cover Letters Virtual Workshop  

Wednesdays from 3:00 – 4:00 until April 6th  

Your résumé and cover letter convey an image to a potential employer. A well-written résumé and cover letter can have a tremendous impact. Learn how to showcase your skills and achievements effectively to make a great first impression.

Seeking Student Researchers                             

Have you ever considered a Community-Based Research (CBR) Project under the supervision of a faculty member? Pursuing community-based research with the TCRC is a rewarding way to earn academic credits while getting involved and contributing to your community. Your research will answer important questions posed by your community and will help local organizations to do better work and to build a better Peterborough. Projects are now available for the Winter and Summer Terms for 2022.

How to Check the Student Job Board​

  1. Go to ccr.trentu.ca OR access it through your myTrent page under Support > Careerspace.  ​
  2. Go to the student drop-down menu and select Student Login. Log in with your student credentials. (This step is only when signing in by website).​
  3. Then select Student Job Board from the sidebar menu.​
  4. Go to the Advanced Search (You can also go to Quick Search to filter jobs by  “Featured postings” and “Application Deadlines in the next 10 days”, etc.​
  5. Select Opportunity Location and select Trent-Peterborough Campus or Trent-Durham Campus. (While most on-campus jobs will appear under the campus opportunity locations, you can take a quick look at Peterborough and Area, as well as Online to make sure you don’t miss any). ​
  6. To further narrow your results, you can also select Opportunity Types such as Part-time, Summer Job, Volunteer etc.  ​
  7. Then go to the bottom and Search for Job Postings. ​
  8. Once you get the results, click View to read further requirements and information.

Applications for On Campus jobs open at different times. Check the Job Board regularly!
