Laura’s research interests lie at the intersection of organizational theory and entrepreneurship. Her current work focuses on the emergence and evolution of market categories. Her research has been published in Strategic Organization, Journal of Small Business Management, and the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences. She has presented her research papers at numerous national and international academic conferences including the Academy of Management and Administrative Science Association of Canada.
Laura has taught Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, New Venture Planning and Design, and Markets, Organization Theory, and Markets, Governments and Organizations. Prior to her doctoral degree, Laura was a Strategy Consultant with Diamond Strategy and Technology Consultants/PricewaterhouseCoopers.
