| Not currently taking clients Hi! My name is Jazmine and I am a second year BSc. Kinesiology student minoring in Indigenous studies. I am Anishinaabe/Potawatomi, and my family and ancestors are from Alderville First Nation. Here at Trent, I am blending my two passions of health and wellness, with an Indigenous lens/perspective. I have been a certified personal trainer since July 2019, previously working at another local gym for the last three years. I have trained clients in person, developed programs and continue to help individuals along their fitness journey wherever they may be! My favorite sports are baseball, field lacrosse, golf, and rugby. All of which I previously played until I broke my fibula, then metatarsal! In the gym, I love barbell lifts, strength/powerlifting styles of training as well as a good high intensity (HIIT) session! My goal is building lifelong strength that can translate into and emphasize our everyday abilities. I believe our health and wellness is extremely important and we can improve it at any age. I love to work with beginners, athletes and all ages and fitness levels. Everyone belongs in the gym, and I am here to show you that! |

Hi! My name is Isabelle and I am an undergraduate student at Trent University studying kinesiology. I am a varsity student-athlete with a passion for helping others build stronger bodies. As a volleyball player and former hockey player, I've experienced the challenges of injuries, and going through my own recovery journey is what brought me to kinesiology; I wanted to learn how I could not only help myself but also guide others toward a healthier and more resilient body. This personal journey is what led me to pursue my degree and started my love for strength and conditioning, which has made me feel strong and powerful. I am committed to using my academic knowledge and athletic experience to help you not only achieve your fitness goals but also gain a sense of power in your own body. My philosophy is that everyone deserves to feel strong and confident. My goal as a personal trainer is to create a positive and educational environment where you can learn to move safely and effectively, no matter where you are on your journey or what your goals are. I focus on building a strong foundation, using proper form, and developing a training program tailored to your specific needs. If your goal is to enhance athletic performance, strength, prevent future injuries, or simply feel more capable in your daily life, I am here to help you reach your goals and support you in every step of the way. |

Hi, my name is Mike. I am a student here at Trent University studying Kinesiology. I achieved my personal training specialist certification this past year with CanFitPro. For as long as I can remember, I've had a passion for fitness and training. Now working at Trent, I can motivate people and help them achieve their fitness goals. Growing up, I played rugby and played for a couple of years on the varsity team. When training my clients, I prioritize functional training, health and longevity. I like to focus primarily on strength and power, as this carries over to everyday tasks and aids in injury prevention. I believe that everyone is their own athlete, regardless of their experience in sport. I also understand that each client is different, meaning that I will work closely with your personal preferences and goals to ensure that we can get the most out of each session. I am open to working with anyone from beginners to competitive athletes. I believe that exercise is hygiene and that no matter your age or experience, it’s crucial for overall health and should be a part of everyone’s schedule. |
