Supports for Students in Navigating the University Learning Environment
The Academic Skills Tool Kit is an academic support program, supported by the Colleges at Trent and coordinated by Academic Skills, to help students navigate the demands of, and thrive within, the university learning environment.
In an interactive book uploaded to participating Blackboard course sites, Academic Skills instructors provide learning resources in the form of short videos, tip sheets, templates, and weblinks targeting essential learning skills (e.g., how to manage time effectively, reading and notetaking skills, writing strategies, studying and exam prep).

Look for the Academic Skills Tool Kit in your course! Participating courses will have the Academic Skills Tool Kit available in their Blackboard course site.
