Join fellow students and an Academic Skills Instructor for one or all sessions:
- Sep 25 - Finding Your Voice in Class: Bring your speaking voice and learn speak up in class without the nerves
- Oct 16 - Speaking Professionally in Public: Dawn your most professional persona and learn how to focus you and your audience when delivering presentations
- Nov 6 - SLIDE(s) into Visual Aids: BYOD (bring your own device) and learn how to craft meaningful visual aids
- Nov 27 - Asked & Answered: Put on your thinking cap and learn how to respond to questions even when you're put on the spot
All sessions occur from 3pm to 4pm in Bata Library Room 106.6. Register in the Student Experience Portal or drop in (space permitting).
Each one-hour session will feature an introductory icebreaker, a short academic skills topic presentation, group practice activity, a reflection, and snacks!
