Cost Breakdown
| Tuition & Auxiliary fees | Waived as per our Bi-lateral Agreement. Auxiliary fees pay for a variety of services at Trent and you are entitled to using them. |
| TIO (Trent International Orientation) | $300 CAD This fee is for fall, winter and full-year students. For more information refer to the Trent International page. |
| UHIP Health Insurance | $264 CAD for 4 months, $528 CAD for 8 months Prices updated annually (priced June 2025). The University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) is a mandatory health insurance to cover your medical needs while you are studying in Ontario. Visit UHIP website to learn more about the coverage. |
| Orientation Week (PTBO Campus Orientation) | $102.18 CAD |
| Accommodation | Approximately $7,000-12,000 CAD per year Those students planning on staying on Trent residences please consult the housing department at Trent for more information on exact costs. Please note there are 5 residences on campus, each having its own costs. Visit the Trent Housing website and explore their residence options; you will be able to see the cost for each residence. Visit the Off-Campus Housing website and explore their residence options; you will be able to see the cost for each Off-Campus Housing option. |
| Spending Money | Approximately $2,500 CAD per term, depending on lifestyle We recommend that students budget for about $250-500 CAD for books per term. However this is just an estimate and depending on the program your courses are in, this cost could vary. |
