Most of our partners have signed tuition only agreements, but not all of them. Please connect with your home university to determine which category you fall under.
Tuition only Agreement
Students, who come from a university that has a tuition and ancillary agreement with Trent, will pay their tuition and ancillary fees to their home university and have the tuition and ancillary fees at Trent waived. It is up to these students to either apply to on-campus residence or find their own accommodation off-campus.
Tuition and Residence Agreement
Students, who come from a university that has a tuition and residence agreement with Trent, will pay both their tuition and residence fees to their home university, and have these costs waived at Trent.

Meal Plan |
Total = $2,441.50 (per semester) *Meal Plans are not transferrable so exchange students are encouraged to spent all their money as it will not be refunded. For more information check out the Housing FAQ website here. |

Trent Cash | Trent Cash is a campus-wide currency, used at places like the bookstore, in addition to some off-campus locations. This currency can be loaded onto your TrentU card at any time throughout the semester. When completing your housing application you will be asked if you want to add Trent Cash to your TrentU card. This is optional, NOT mandatory. For more information check out the Trent Cash FAQ website here. |
Winter Break Stay*Optional | The University is closed during the winter break (December 22, 2026 at 11AM - January 3, 2027 at 11AM). If you would like to stay in residence during the break you can select "winter break stay" option in your housing application.
