As a Sociology student, you will undertake examination and exploration in a supportive environment.
You will collaborate with your peers and faculty members in small classes – and find yourself as part of a closely-knit community. Your instructors will be leaders in their fields, and at the same time, accessible and approachable. In addition, the Department of Sociology, has a host of resources available to its students including The John Hillman Reading Room – a quiet place to read, or gather for study groups.
Also active on campus in the Trent University Sociology Collective (TUSC), which will provide you an opportunity to engage in both academic and social interests related to the study of Sociology.
