Biography
Cyndi has practiced nursing in a broad range of areas since 1982, including at the point of care in paediatrics, Public Health, labour and delivery, maternal child care, and outpatient women’s health and paediatric care. She then moved into administration in hospital working as a manager, director, and interim VP, overseeing several acute care areas. Cyndi joined the Trent/Fleming School of Nursing in 2007 and has taught in all four years of the undergraduate program, as well as the Master of Health Science Professional Practice Leadership program. She is currently the Compressed Coordinator for Nursing and the Director of Social Work. Cyndi is a long-time resident of Port Hope enjoying the vibrant community with her husband, immediate, and extended families. She is actively involved in community work with Northumberland Hills Hospital Board and Green Wood Coalition.
