Indigenous Ph.D. Research Day

Trent University faculty and graduate students will have the opportunity to share their research at the annual Indigenous Ph.D. Research Day at Trent University.  Researchers at Trent who are doing studies related to Aboriginal/Indigenous peoples have been invited to present at the event, with the theme Indigenous Research Across Disciplines: Current and Future Directions at Trent.  Researchers will make 10 to 12 minute presentations on their work throughout the event, which runs from 2 to 8:30 p.m. Indigenous Research Day will be held at the Gathering Space in the Enweying Building, Gzowski College on the East Bank of Trent's main campus.  The event is being sponsored by the Native Studies Department, the Frost Centre for Canadian Studies and Native Studies and the Associate Vice President, Research.

Cost: Free

Faculty, student and community researchers engaged in Indigenous research will share their work.  This is a great networking event.  Open to the public for free.

Location: The Gathering Space, Gzowski College

Challenge the Way You Think

Trent University respectfully acknowledges it is located on the treaty and traditional territory of the Mississauga Anishinaabeg. We offer our gratitude to First Peoples for their care for, and teachings about, our earth and our relations. May we honour those teachings.
