Move-in date for the 2026-2027 Academic Year is Sunday, September 6, 2026 (Peterborough & Durham).
It’s almost time to move into residence! Before joining us on campus, we have some helpful resources to make your day go smoothly:
Before You Arrive
- Avoid move-in delays - upload your photo to the TrentU Card Photo Submission tool on the myTrent portal, under Services-> Campus Services-> TrentU Card Photo Submission. OR though this LINK. This photo will be used in your official TrentUstudent card and your Transit Pass.
- Your TrentU card has gone mobile! Download the Avro app and log into your student card by August 21. Instructions on how to activate your mobile card can be found HERE.
- Coldex Fridge Rental – need a mini fridge for your space? Skip the heavy lifting and rent from Coldex, they'll deliver it to your space: coldexrents.com
**Note: Traill College and Otonabee Triples include 1 Coldex microfridge per room - no need to book. - Refer to the email you received that includes your move-in time slot. You will be able to access your move in information in your original housing application in the housing portal.

Your Residence Assistant and the rest of our staff are excited to support your big day! Carts will be available and student staff will be on hand to troubleshoot.
Late Arrivals
If you are unable to arrive during your scheduled move-in time slot, please contact Student Housing at residence@trentu.ca before you arrive on campus, and we will work with you to accommodate your needs.
Move in Day
You can check in at your designated tent during your scheduled move-in timeslot. Once you have checked in and picked up your key, use the maps and coloured signs to guide you to your residence. Trent University staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Campus maps are linked below:

- Lady Eaton College Map for room numbers that start with ECN or ECS – follow Green signs – Please enter on West Bank Drive.
- Lady Eaton Annex Map for room numbers that start with EANX – follow Purple signs – Please enter at 1633 Water Street.
- Champlain College Map for room numbers that start with CCN or CCW – follow Red signs – Please enter on Woodland Drive.

Drop Off
Prepare to quickly unload your vehicle at your designated unload zone after arriving at your residence building. Once you've unloaded, you are welcome to park at one of our nearby long-term parking lots to avoid congested traffic.
