Dr. Bruce was appointed Trent University's 9th President and Vice-Chancellor in 2024. She has significantly contributed to the University’s growth, serving as a professor, director of graduate programs, founder of the Centre for Teaching and Learning, dean of Trent’s School of Education, and, most recently, as vice-president of Research and Innovation.

Marilyn Burns, Vice President, Communications and Enrolment
The Office of the Vice President, Communications & Enrolment strives to build and raise Trent’s profile and reputation on a provincial, national and international level. Working collaboratively, they support Trent’s strategic goals, objectives and key initiatives, with a specific focus on expanding recruitment and increasing acceptances and overall undergraduate student enrolment. The Vice President, Communications & Enrolment also oversees Trent’s Collegiate System, which offers a unique opportunity for the creation of engaging and meaningful experiences for students outside the classroom.

Stephanie Williams, Vice President, People, Culture and Student Services
The Office of the Vice President, People, Culture & Student Services provides services for all employees, retirees, and future employees of Trent University, in the areas of Benefits, Pension, Recruitment, Compensation, Payroll, Labour Relations, Job Evaluation and Learning & Development. The Vice President, Human Resources also oversees a range of departments that provide services to students on campus including personal counseling, residence and food services, a student health clinic, student accessibility services, and the Spiritual Affairs coordinator.
Dr. Scott Henderson, Vice President and Head, Trent Durham GTA
As vice-president and head of Trent University Durham GTA, Dr. Scott Henderson provides strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of the growing campus. VP Henderson is responsible for academic and administrative operations, new program development, student services and supports, and community engagement. The vice-president of Trent Durham GTA ensures the close-knit urban campus continues to thrive as a key postsecondary institution in the region, including through government relations and establishing strategic partnerships.
