Thinking Ahead to Grad School? Start Your Master's Early
Body

Pursue an Honours Thesis during your undergraduate degree and fast-track your master’s in 12-20 months through Trent’s Accelerated Master’s pathways.

If you're a high achieving third year student in one of Trent’s select undergraduate pathway programs, you can work towards advanced standing in a related Master’s degree program on an accelerated timeline which will allow you to graduate with both an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in less time.
Your first step is identifying a research focus and building connections with potential supervisors. Once you’ve determined what direction you want to head in, you can ask for more information on how to apply for an Accelerated Master’s program in the third year of your undergraduate honours degree. Students are encouraged to check with individual programs for more information.
