Hydrology Field Research Stipend

Current undergraduate seniors and graduate students enrolled at Trent University, Peterborough, CANADA and involved in developing their OWN independent research in hydrology or related discipline(s) as part of work towards an academic senior paper or thesis/dissertation are invited to apply for this Hydrology Field Research Stipend.

The importance of new field research in hydrology and applied water resources cannot be overemphasized in these times of rapidly changing and intensifying climates. Continuing advancements in water resources requires ongoing field investigations and monitoring commitments. Trent University has been and remains a global leader in hydrologic field investigations.

 

This stipend is intended to help STUDENTS underwrite certain logistical necessities to support planned or ongoing fieldwork including but not limited to travel, lodgings, field camps, equipment, supplies, etc. for a wide range of hydrology-related field studies, including those in extreme and/or remote environments.  

The stipend is wholly underwritten and issued by The SHIBATANI GROUP International.
