Deadline: April 22 of the current academic year
All submissions should be made by email to englishprizes@trentu.ca. Applicants should provide a cover page clearly indicating the prize(s) being applied for along with student name, student number and email address. Applicants should not identify themselves on the manuscript or other material submitted.
Submissions, where possible, should be submitted as a word document and should consist of a literary manuscript (fiction, poetry, drama or creative non‐fiction) and a portfolio representing the applicant’s work in one of the other arts. The manuscript should be double spaced and no more than 20 pages in length. The portfolio should consist of representative samples of the applicant’s work in the form of photographs, audio links or visual arts links etc. Material in the submission should not previously have been published.
The estimated value of the prize for the current academic year is $750.
