Community Race Relations Committee of Peterborough  

Local advocacy group working to combat racism and discrimination via community outreach, educational events, and policy involvement.

Kawartha Sexual Assault Clinic  

Offers 24/7 crisis support, trauma-informed counselling, and advocacy for survivors of sexual violence. Services are available to people of all genders across the Peterborough region.

Kawartha food share  

Kawartha Food Share exists to ensure that all members of the Peterborough County-City community have access to a reliable emergency food source.

Legal aid Peterborough Clinic

Supports eligible residents with legal services related to human rights, housing, immigration, and family law. Assistance includes legal advice, duty counsel, and referrals to specialized clinics.

Peterborough Chapter of the Ontario Public Interest Research Group

Student-run and community-oriented group offering educational resources, campaigns, and action around social and environmental justice.

Peterborough Community Legal Centre

A Legal Aid Ontario–funded clinic offering free legal advice and representation for low-income residents on issues like housing, employment rights, human rights, disability support, and family matters.

The Peterborough Community Legal Centre (PCLC) is a non-profit corporation with a community based membership and Board of Directors elected at our Annual General Meeting. We have been serving this community since 1989.
